Fluffy Card
Fluffy Card
A note about my Harry Potter fan art: Here at Kibblewood Crafts, we are not here for JK Rowling’s committed and dangerous transphobia. I’m a nonbinary artist, and for me, part of continuing to be a part of HP fandom is to create conversation and interventions against transphobia (and many other problematic aspects of the series) by way of talking about this hugely popular franchise with a critical lense. The way JKR is using her extremely large platform is dangerous and harmful. Support trans, queer, and BIPOC artists instead!
All of my HP related art will be sent with a mini-zine version of Hashtag Ruthless Productions’ incredible guide to firing JKR. Give it to a friend, put it on your coffee table, start a conversation! Also check out their full guide online.
50% of sales from all HP related art will be donated, split between Sisters Pgh (a Black and Trans led organization serving trans folks around Pittsburgh, where I live), andEdinburgh Rape Crisis Centre(which JKR used to fund, but pulled all her funding of their critical services when they hired a trans ED, and opened a separate center that refuses service to trans folks).
This Fluffy greeting card is screen printed by hand from original paper cutting art, and is a take on the charming yet off-putting giant 3-headed dog from the Harry Potter world. Here we see Fluffy at ease while on duty guarding the trap door to the sorcerer’s stone. This is a 4 layer screen print, with details in black, the dog/s in light brown, and accents in pink and white.
The card is blank inside, printed on sunflower yellow recycled cardstock, and comes with an envelope (recycled content), packaged in a compostable plastic sleeve.
